The most famous blockbuster of Megastar Chiranjeevi with Raghavendra Rao and Sridevi, Jagadekaveerudu Athilokha Sundari, is expected to get a sequel. The movie was produced by C. Ashwini Dutt on Vyjayanthi Movies banner.The movie was a phenomenal success as it’s Box Office performance did not dip due to heavy downpour as a result of the cyclone in 1990.The film was then dubbed into Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi languages and it did great business too.
The socio fantasy film has inspired many writers and filmmakers further to write stories involving an angel falling for a normal guide.Ashwini Dutt announced long back that he wants to make a sequel for the movie and now he registered the title ‘Jagadekaveerudu’ for the sequel. It is interesting to see who will be cast as the main leads in the film. Will the new Jagadekaveerudu be Ram Charan Tej? And who will direct this sequel needs to be seen!
