J.D Chakravarthy to make a comeback!

J.D Chakravarthy or more popularly referred to as ‘Geddam’ Chakravarthy has set his sails in different languages at different capacities. In Hindi, he debuted as an actor with Shiva and then became a lead actor with Satya. After that he became a director with Durga and continued his passion with horror films like Darwaza Bandh Rakho and Darna Zaroori Hein. The multi-faceted actor then made a debut in Telugu as well as a director with Homam.

Although he started his career as an actor way back in 80’s, he did not strongly pursue acting even after delivering hits like One by Two, Money, Anaganaga Oka Roju, Satya, Gulabi, Mrugam, Premaku Velayera and many more. He wanted to prove himself as a director under the strong influence of his mentor, Ram Gopal Verma. With the movies he directed, All the Best, Money Money more Money and Sidham failing at the box office, the actor – director took a break from the films to concentrate on his married life.

Now, he is ready to comeback in a Amma Rajasekhar directorial. The choreographer turned director, Amma Rajasekhar is known for making massy entertainers. His Ranam, gave Gopichand an all important commercial success but afterwards the director failed to recreate the success with Ravi Teja and Nithiin. He even got his brother to debut as a hero, but that experiment failed too. With this film, produced by Nakshatra Media, he wants to prove himself once again. The film will begin shooting from 15th March and S.S. Thaman will be composing tunes for the movie.
