The actor has now pinned all his hopes on his upcoming film Narappa, which is the official Telugu remake of Tamil film Asuran. A few weeks ago, the makers released the first look poster and he is the spitting image of Dhanush. The makers have announced that the film will release on May 8. If everything falls in place, then Narappa will face stiff competition at the box office this summer. There is a lot of positive reports surrounding the film as it imparts an important message to society.
Reportedly, Ravi Teja’s film Krack is also releasing on the same day. Hence, the film will be battling Narappa at the box office. Like Narappa, Krack is also receiving a lot of attention on social media, thanks to its promotion. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the film features Shruti Haasan as the female lead. Ravi Teja and Venkatesh have been struggling to score a hit and their respective films should give them some respite. It is said that Krack is inspired by Tamil film Sethupathi, directed by SU Arun Kumar. An official announcement regarding Krack and Narappa’s release dates will be out soon.
