It’s Official: Dil Raju’s Vaarasudu Postponed

From the past few days, news has been circulating among Tollywood media that the Telugu version release of Kollywood star Vijay’s Varisu likely to be postponed to January 14th. Directed by Tollywood director Vamshi Paidipally, Varisu was initially planned for a simultaneous release in Telugu as Vaarasudu.

Meanwhile, the latest information from trade circles indicate that Vaarasudu’s release date is pushed to January 14th. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be out shortly from the makers.

Bankrolled by Tollywood top producer Dil Raju, the delay in the final mixing is said to be the reason behind the release of Vaarasudu. On the other hand, Varisu which is scheduled for a January 11th release will have a smooth release in Tamil version.

Co-starring Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, Varisu/Vaarasudu also has Sarathkumar, Jayasudha, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Kick Shyam among others in prominent roles. Thaman is the music composer.
