“It’s Not Just About Me,” Says Vijay Devarakonda

Vijay said he has been facing planned negative campaigns against his films since the release of Dear Comrade.

He explained that he noticed these attacks early but many people did not believe him at that time. Later when other filmmakers also faced similar issues they understood what he meant.

He shared that some directors and producers who worked with him later realised how harmful these campaigns can be.

He also said that he spent much time and many nights without sleep trying to understand who was behind this stuff and why they were targeting him.

He also added that this issue is not only about his own career. He believes the film industry should be protected from such negativity so future actors and filmmakers can work in a healthier, fairer and more positive environment.
