Income Tax officials conducted surprise raids today at the residence and business premises of Tamil actor Arya in Chennai.
According to reports from Tamil media the operation began with checks at restaurants linked to the actor and later moved to his home.
Several outlets of the well-known ‘Sea Shell’ restaurant chain reportedly associated with Arya, are being inspected across various parts of Chennai.
As of now there is no official confirmation regarding the reason behind the raids or any findings from the inspections. The news has created a buzz in the industry and business circles and more details are expected to be out soon.
