Anirudh Ravichander was known for sharing simple reviews on X using cup and fire emojis for the films he worked on.
His fire emoji meant he believed the film would be a box office hit, and most of his predictions turned out right. However fans recently noticed he stopped posting these emoji reviews.
During Coolie promotions, Anirudh explained why. He said, “I stopped posting emojis because sometimes we know certain films might not do well”.
“Posting reviews in those cases didn’t feel right. Also, it added pressure, people expected reviews from me, and if I didn’t post fire emojis, they assumed the film was bad”.
He also said, “There were some movies I liked but didn’t feel like posting about. I was being honest, but it backfired”.
However, he made it clear that he really enjoyed Coolie, saying, “I’m giving fire emojis to Coolie live, it will surely entertain everyone”.
