Isha Talwar, who began her career with Telugu films like Nithiin’s Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde and Raja Cheyyi Vesthe, has now become a prominent name in the OTT space.
After a brief phase in Telugu cinema, she moved to Malayalam films and later found her place in Hindi web series and dramas.
Recently she completed 13 years in the industry and said about a disturbing experience from her early days.
She recalled that during an audition Bollywood casting director Shanoo Sharma asked to perform a crying scene in the middle of a crowded restaurant with assistants watching.
Isha described it as a confusing and uncomfortable request that shook her confidence as a newcomer. She stressed that auditions should be held in proper casting spaces or rented locations for realism.
