Is Vijay’s film with Vamshi going to suffer?

Tamil actor Vijay’s latest film, Beast, directed by Nelson Dileep Kumar, was released today, among huge expectations. Pooja Hegde is the leading lady of this film, for which Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music, which became a chartbuster album, with Arabic Kuthu becoming a sensation.

While the movie got stellar openings in Tamil, and decent openings in the Telugu states, the film hasn’t been getting a good response, either for critics or from audiences. Even the word of mouth isn’t promising enough, which is said to be worrying the makers of the film, especially considering that KGF 2 is all set to be released tomorrow.

On the other hand, trade experts are speculating whether the disappointment of Beast would have any impact on Vijay’s upcoming film with director Vamshi Paidipally, given that the film is being made on a massive budget, and that it is being made as a bilingual. It is now to be seen how Beast is going to impact Vijay’s career.
