Is this the budget of Nag Ashwin and Prabhas’s film?

Filmmaker Nag Ashwin is on cloud nine looking at the reception for his recently announced film with Prabhas. In fact, the film’s announcement has caught everyone by surprise as no one expected them to team up for a film. The film’s shooting will commence towards the end of this year while the film might release next year. If the reports are believed to be true, the budget of Nag Ashwin and Prabhas’s film stands at Rs 200 crore. Recently, the Mahanati director attended an event after which he interacted with the media and shared some interesting tidbits about his upcoming film.

We had earlier reported that Prabhas might play an alien in the film. When asked about the film’s genre, Nag Ashwin said that the film is a science fiction that resonates with the audience. He further added that Prabhas had loved his narration and hence it was easy to get him on board. According to the filmmaker, he and his team would spend around 10 months on the film’s pre-production work. The female leads, cast and crew will be finalised in the coming months. Vyjayanthi Movies who had recently completed 50 years in films are bankrolling the project.
