Prabhas is one of the costliest actors in the Indian film industry, thanks to Baahubali’s humongous reach across the globe. Trying to cash in on his popularity, he picked director Sujeeth’s Saaho, which was made on a mammoth budget of Rs 350 crore. However, the film ended up as a dud at the box office. The actor has finally recovered from the debacle of Saaho and has moved on to his next. Recently, he had signed a film with director Nag Ashwin, which will be produced on a huge scale by the prestigious banner Vyjayanthi Movies.
Reportedly, Prabhas is not getting a fixed salary for his film. He is said have inked a deal with Vyjayanthi Movies and will be getting his salary on profit basis. If reports are anything to be true, Prabhas has agreed to take around 40 to 60 % of the film’s profits. In a recent interview, director Nag Ashwin spilled the beans that his film with Prabhas is a science fiction made on a lavish budget of Rs 200 crore. He also joked around saying that it isn’t a pan-Indian film, but a pan-world film. The pre-production work is currently underway.
