Apart from Tuck Jagadish which is ready for release, hero Nani’s yet another film titled, Shyam Singha Roy is in its last leg of shooting. Touted as a period love drama, the film’s shoot is underway at a specially erected massive Kolkata set in the outskirts of Hyderabad.
As per the reports, with the ongoing schedule, the film will wrap up its entire shooting formalities. Now, the latest buzz circulating among film circles is that the film’s non-theatrical rights including digital, satellite and Hindi rights got a massive offer.
Reportedly, one of the leading entertainment and digital streaming management came forward to pay more than Rs 30 crore to grab the film’s non-theatrical rights. If the news is to be believed, this comes as a major boost for Shyam Singha Roy makers.
Rahul Sankrityan is directing Shyam Singha Roy and has Sai Pallavi and Kirthi Shetty as the female leads. Niharika Entertainments banner is bankrolling the movie with a whopping budget of about Rs 50 core. Mickey J Meyer is scoring music for the film.
