Initially, director Trivikram Srinivas was on board to direct NTR in his 30th film. However, this plan fell through, and NTR teamed up with director Koratala Siva while Trivikram shifted to Superstar Mahesh Babu.
Everything seemed to be going well for NTR30 after it was announced that Koratala would be directing the film. The trouble started after Alia Bhatt walked out of the film, though, citing personal reasons. It was almost confirmed that Alia would be the leading lady in the film, but her walking out caused the makers to once again start searching for a suitable leading lady.
And now, with the debacle of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s recently released Acharya, which was directed by Koratala Siva, the film’s shooting has been delayed and is expected to begin in July or August. The director is said to have requested extra time to work on the script with NTR, and the actor is said to have agreed to the same as well. Here’s hoping that there wouldn’t be any more changes and that everything goes smoothly for the film hereon.
