Bahubali franchise is undeniably a huge success that Indian Cinema has ever produced. The movie turned out to be a box office typhoon with it creating records in less time. The movie has become the biggest blockbuster of Indian Cinema ever and everybody wants a piece of the cake.
Many Bollywood producers are contemplating on collaborating with director SS Rajamouli for his next movie and are even trying to get him direct the third installment of the franchise. While Rajamouli denied the possibility through out his promotional interviews, claiming that he is not looking to go through the huge gruelling process again did leave a space by inserting voices of Tanikella Bharani and a young child, who asks him “If Mahendra Bahubali ruled the kingdom forever peacefully?” For that the swamiji replies, “What do I know what Shiva has in his mind?” Well, this is seen as a lead for next part.
When the same question is posted to Rajamouli at London, he replied, “My father Vijayendra Prasad’s strong story coupled with my penchant to imagine a big action epic on screen transferred into Bahubali. We did not plan for the third part as the story we started concluded in second part of the movie. I can not confirm anything but if my father comes up with a compelling and strong story like the original, I may return to make the third part as well. Bahubali has gained a great name and fame, we cannot destroy that for some few quick bucks.” Well, Bahubali3 seems to be in plans if not today at least in future.
