Is the multi-starrer budget real?

SS Rajamouli has established himself as the most popular director all-over India. His Baahubali series, made him the most talked about director and he is looking to finish off the pre-production work on his multi-starrer with Ram Charan and Jr. NTR as soon as possible. He recently made an official announcement after releasing a small pic with the actors in November.

Now, an interesting rumour as come out that the movie budget is 250 crores. Baahubali series two movies budget is said to be 400 crores and it had huge number of VFX shots that needed so much budget and even simple scenes had so much going on in the background to justify the budget. But Rajamouli himself said that his next film will not have such VFX shots and he wants to make something that is highly different from his VFX oriented big movies after Eega and Baahubali.

This new rumour has made many lose their mind. DVV Danayya as a producer did not produce such huge budget movies and his highest budget film is Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu till now. Even Arka Media did not make such big films like Baahubali before but they managed to pull up huge amounts for the film. Can Danayya too do the same? Many express their doubt of this being true. Rajamouli never revealed the budget of his movies and always left it for producer’s discretion. Even Ram Charan Tej revealed that he did not hear story till now. So, we cannot actually confirm the budget yet.
