Is Rajinikanth’s next kept on hold?

A formal announcement regarding Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth’s new film under the direction of Nelson Dilipkumar came out a few months back. Sun Pictures banner that bankrolled Nelson’s recent film, Beast will be bankrolling Rajinikanth’s film as well.

But for the past few days news has been circulating among Tamil media circles that after witnessing the disastrous result for Beast, Sun Pictures has decided to cancel Nelson’s project with Rajinikanth. Now, the latest we hear from our sources is that Rajinikanth- Nelson’s project is very much on the cards and will go on the floors in June.

An official announcement regarding the shooting details of Rajini-Nelson’s will be out soon, say reports. Anirudh will be scoring music for this high budget entertainer.
