For any hero, it will be difficult to follow up a Magnum opus like Baahubali and whatever you do, the immediate next film will have huge expectations. This has been a problem for many heroes in the past. After continuous blockbusters and an Industry Hit like Gharana Mogudu, Chiranjeevi had to face flops and averages. Nagarjuna after Annamayya needed a big blockbuster to cement his place as No.1 star but his next films suffered under huge expectations and there were some bad films too. This is true to every hero from Naga Shourya to Nani to Jr. NTR to Pawan Kalyan to Mahesh. Prabhas too had to face such phase after Chatrapathi.
He is now determined to not repeat the same and hence, he is taking as much as he can to nail the difficult action episodes for Saaho, it seems. The actor has been working hard to make sure that the film delivers on the promise of good entertainment. Due to this, his next film is getting delayed further it seems.
As per Industry buzz, Jill Radhakrishna has been waiting for Prabhas from past 3 years with the romantic subject and Prabhas has agreed to join the film from October. Right now, the buzz is that the movie may start in December and release by October next year. The story happens in Europe in 1960 and it needs a lot of work from Prabhas, it seems. So, the actor wants to finish, all the heavy duty stuff that Saaho demands and then start this new film, it seems.
