Is Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy gearing up for an OTT release?

The entire shooting formalities for hero Nani’s upcoming film, Shyam Singha Roy are wrapped up a couple of months ago. Being directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the post-production activities for the film are underway at a brisk pace.

Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that popular digital giant Netflix has acquired Shyam Singha Roy’s streaming rights for a whopping price. Though there is no clarity on the film’s direct to digital release, if Shyam Singha Roy opts for an OTT release, it marks as the third consecutive film of Nani to skip the theatrical release and go for an OTT streaming after V and Tuck Jagadish.

Produced by Niharika Entertainments banner, Shyam Singha Roy is a period film set in Kolkata backdrop. The film has Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty as the female leads. Mickey J Meyer is the music composer for the film.
