Nandamuri Balakrishna’s new film under the direction of Gopichand Malineni kick-started yesterday with a high-voltage action sequence at Sircilla in Karimnagar district, Telangana. Tentatively titled NBK107, a leaked picture of Balayya in a salt and pepper look from the shooting spot has been circulating on social media.
Seen sitting in a chair wearing lungi and dark brown shirt, Balayya’s look and the background setup resembles Kannada star Shivarajkumar’s look from his 2017 film, Mufti. Obviously, netizens started a discussion on it and even tagging the director on Twitter and asking the same. Is NBK107 a remake for Mufti? To get clarity, we have to wait and see for some more time.
Being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers banner, NBK107 has Shruti Haasan as the female lead. Kannada star Duniya Vijay is onboard for the antagonist role and also has Varalakshmi Sarathkumar in a key role. Thaman is the music composer for this action drama.
