Is Ashwath Marimuthu Directing Rajinikanth’s Next?

A birthday post shared by the makers of Thalaivar 173 for director Ashwath Marimuthu has sparked fresh speculation among Rajinikanth fans.

Kamal Haasan’s production house recently shared a special video wishing Ashwath on his birthday leading many to believe that he could direct Rajinikanth’s upcoming film. Although there has been no official confirmation the post has fueled discussions everywhere.

Ashwath has been linked to the project for some time. Few reports suggest that he has already narrated a story to the producers.

The film has undergone several changes with Sundar C and later Cibi Chakravarthi reportedly attached at different stages.

Produced by Kamal Haasan, Thalaivar 173 remains one of Tamil cinema’s most anticipated projects with fans eagerly awaiting an official update.
