Is Aneet Padda The New Madhubala On Screen?

A biopic on legendary actress Madhubala has been creating a lot of buzz everywhere. The film is being produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and many have been very curious to know which actress will play the star on screen.

Earlier there were reports that Kiara Advani would play the lead role but those rumours were later denied.

After that, reports suggested that Aneet Padda, known for the film Saiyaara had been chosen to play Madhubala. Some sources even claimed she had signed the project.

However a spokesperson from Yash Raj Films clarified that these reports are not confirmed.

The makers are still keeping many details secret. The film is expected to be made on a grand scale to celebrate Madhubala’s life and career and an official casting announcement may come soon.
