After Baahubali’s stupendous success, a lot is expected from SS Rajamouli’s upcoming flick RRR, which brings together Ram Charan and Jr NTR for the first time. Earlier, RRR was slated to hit the theatres on July 30, 2020. However, according to the latest announcement, the film’s release has been postponed to January 8, 2021. The delay in RRR’s release has shocked fans of SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Jr NTR. Many people pointed out that Alia Bhatt is one of the reasons behind the delay in RRR’s release. The shooting of RRR has been going on with frequent intervals for several months since 2019.
It is rumored that Alia Bhatt couldn’t join the shoot because she is presently busy with her films in Bollywood. Earlier, it was revealed that she only has a guest role in the film. However, sources close to the team revealed that Rajamouli has increased the screentime of her role. As reported earlier, Alia is paired opposite Ram Charan’s character Alluri Seetharama Raja. The film, which is made on a massive budget of Rs 450 crore, is a fictitious tale on Telugu freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem played by Charan and Jr NTR respectively.
