Is Akhil Mr. Majnu?

Many young actors tend to use old film names and old titles to make us all nostalgic. We feel there is a good connection between such popular title and also, this latest movie. Few films used Shankarabharanam, Geetanjali and other titles for their films. Now, there is a chance that Akhil will use his Father’s big hit in the romance genre, Majnu during his early career days.

Akhil is getting ready to join the long schedule of 45 days with his director Venky Atluri and the team. The schedule is planned in London and the movie is said to be a romantic tale. Venky Atluri delivered a good hit with Tholiprema and there are many expectations on Akhil after two films, Akhil and Hello beings flops. Hello, managed to get a recognition for its edgy action scenes but it did not become a career defining hit.

So, the actor and his fans want to get that alluring hit with this film. BVSN Prasad is producing the film and SS Thaman is scoring music. Naga Chaitanya scored a successful film with an old title, Oka Laila Kosam and we have to see if the title is fixed to be Mr. Majnu, will Akhil also score his first hit with the film.
