Trivikram Srinivas is known for using ideas from other languages films in his stories and present them in his own style. His last film, A..Aa, is a retelling of old film inspired from novel, Meena and director clarified that he took permission to use source material from the original writer of the novel, Yeddanapudi Sulochana Rani.
Now, Heir Apparent/ Largo Winch that released in 2008, has come into question as it has similarities with Agnyathavasi. The teaser showcased elements of story that indicates the film has a similar storyline to Largo Winch.
