Ravi Teja has a strong box office following but his recent films have failed to meet expectations. His upcoming film Irumudi, releasing tomorrow is now creating huge buzz.
The film’s North America pre-sales have crossed $225K, making it his biggest pre-sales in recent times.
The ticket demand is also strong across the Telugu states, with shows filling quickly and exhibitors adding extra shows.
Hyderabad theatres are already witnessing capacity issues, while other centres are making arrangements to meet the demand. More than 100K tickets have been sold through BookMyShow and District apps.
The film now needs positive word-of-mouth after release. Director Shiva Nirvana’s work and GV Prakash Kumar’s music are receiving praise. Trade analysts expect Irumudi to deliver Ravi Teja’s biggest opening in recent years.
