Trade reports suggest that the film is set to record its second biggest day on its second Sunday, which is a rare achievement for a commercial entertainer.
Despite competition from Toxic the film continues to perform well. Positive word of mouth and family audiences have helped the movie maintain its momentum.
With new releases arriving next week, Irumudi has a good chance of crossing the Rs. 200 crore mark.
