Megastar Chiranjeevi has been signing films on a back to back basis, with several films lined up for him, after Acharya, which is being directed by Koratala Siva. Acharya has been in the making for a long time and has been postponed several times due to various reasons, including both the waves of coronavirus. The film is near completion right now, in which Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde are playing supporting roles, and Kajal Aggarwal is playing the leading lady. The film is expected to release for Dussehra this year.
As soon as Chiranjeevi wraps up Acharya, he is expected to start shooting for his next, the remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer, to be directed by Tamil director Mohan Raja. After this, Chiranjeevi is expected to start shooting for director Bobby’s film. Recently, there were reports, that Bobby had initially narrated the script to Vijay Deverakonda, who rejected it due to the lack of dates. Bobby is said to have narrated the script to Chiranjeevi after having made the necessary changes.
According to the latest reports, Bobby’s film with Chiranjeevi is a multistarrer, in which another young actor has a major part to play. While0 the actor is yet to be locked, the story is said to revolve around a star actor and his die-hard fan. While Chiranjeevi will be seen playing the star actor, the search for the die-hard fan is still going on. It is going to be highly interesting to see which actor will share screen space with Chiranjeevi, and how the film will turn out to be.
