A project in the combination of star director Sukumar and young hero Vijay Deverakonda was formally announced last year. Said to be a pan-India project, the movie was supposed to go on the floors in the second half of 2021 but is delayed due to the Covid outbreak.
In the meantime, news also came out that Sukumar is planning to split his ongoing rustic entertainer, Pushpa into two parts. Later, news also circulated among media circles is that Sukumar is keen on wrapping up the final portions of Pushpa ( part 1) soon after the Covid situation returns to normalcy and then focus on the second part from this year end.
As Sukumar is going to be occupied with Pushpa’s second part in 2022 also, buzz started circulating among media circles is that Vijay and Sukumar’s project has been put on hold indefinitely. But the latest news coming in from inside sources is that the project is very much on track.
Reportedly, Sukumar has been using the Covid free time in penning the script for Vijay Deverakonda’s project. Kedar Selagamsetty will be bankrolling Sukumar-Vijay Deverakonda’s as-yet-untitled movie under his Falcon Creations banner.
