Hero Nani’s new film under the direction of debutant named Shourya has a final launch on January 31st. Tentatively titled #Nani30, the makers have roped in Mrunal Thakur of Sita Ramam fame as the female lead in the movie.
The film’s regular shooting kick-started a few days back in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, the latest news is that the team is canning a few key scenes on the lead pair in the ongoing schedule. In the film, Nani and Mrunal Thakur will be seen as parents of a girl child.
On a lighter note, an interesting coincidence is that Nani played the father role for a school kid in his 2019 film, Jersey. Shraddha Srinath was seen as his wife. In the Hindi remake of Jersey, Mrunal Thakur reprised Shraddha Srinath’s role. Shahid Kapoor played the lead role in the Hindi version of Jersey. Now, both Nani and Mrunal are playing an on-screen married couple with a child in #Nani30.
#Nani30 is being produced by CV Mohan. Not many are aware that CV Mohan is one of the producers in Mythri Movie Makers from the initial days. He came out from the production house and launched his own banner and producing #Nani30 as his first venture.
Recently, Nani wrapped up the shooting for his upcoming rustic drama, Dasara. Directed by Srikanth Odela, Dasara has Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. Sudhakar Cherukuri bankrolled this pan-India project under his Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas banner. The film is gearing up for a pan-India release on March 30, 2023.
