Last year released Kollywood hit, Maanaadu under the direction of Venkat Prabhu went to become a cult hit at the box office. Starring Simbu, SJ Suryah in the lead roles, the film’s Telugu dubbed version, Loop is available online on the noted OTT platform SonyLIV.
Already official news came out that reputed Tollywood production house, Suresh Productions has bagged the Telugu remake rights of the film. Though earlier news came out Naga Chaitanya will be doing the lead role in the Telugu remake of Maanaadu but Chay himself clarified that he will not be doing the remake of Maanaadu remake and revealed that his cousin cum Suresh Son Rana has high chance to do the lead role in the Telugu version.
To date, there is no official announcement regarding the film from Suresh Productions. But the latest we hear is that the pre-production work for the film is underway at a fast pace. Ravi Teja and Siddu Jonnalagadda are in talks for the lead roles, say sources. Noted director Harish Shankar is providing dialogues and screenplay for the film. Dasaradh will be helming the project, reports suggest.
However, to get clarity on the above news we have to wait and see for some more time.
