Rishab Shetty has done it again. After the 2022 pan-India hit Kantara the National Award-winning actor, director has scored another success with its prequel, Kantara Chapter 1.
In an interview, Rishab talked about the world of Kantara. He said, “I’ve known this world since childhood”.
“The Daiva we worship has always been part of my family. The prardhana (Kola) tells stories of the Daiva, showing divine power and the Maya Loka”.
He added, “The prequel’s ideas, characters, and humour reflect the Maya Loka, like a grandmother’s fairy tale. Chapter 1 was the most complex script, and it was tough to explain to audiences. The prequel shows the ancestors of the first film’s characters and the stories will continue”.
When asked about the franchise’s length, Rishab said he doesn’t know and is going with the flow. He also expressed his love for the Telugu language and culture saying he hopes to learn it soon.
