Production designer Avinash Kolla shared key details about the film Peddi starring Mega Power Star Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu which is set to release on June 4th.
This film is a sports drama that mainly required detailed sets to create the Uttarandhra and Vizianagaram regions.
Avinash revealed that the team spent over a year in pre-production first creating miniatures and then building real sets in open grounds using natural light for authenticity.
One of the toughest tasks was building a hill station town in Jubilee Hills designed to look like it sits beneath a hill. A sugarcane factory was also fully constructed as a set.
In total 24 major sets and many smaller setups were created with every detail carefully designed to look natural and realistic on screen.
