Comedian Ali shifted royalties to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP just before the 2019 general elections in the state of Andhra Pradesh. As per the inside reports, Jagan promised Ali either Rajyasabha seat or else a cabinet ranking post in the state government.
For the past three and half years, Ali is waiting to listen the sweet news from the AP Chief Minister. Earlier, news also came out that Ali’s name is almost finalized for the nominated MP post but later there is no update on it.
Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that vexed with the betrayal of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Ali has decided to resign for YSR Congress party soon. As per the media reports, Ali is keen on joining his friend Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena party if he gets a promise of Rajamundry rural MLA seat.
