As Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak is postponed to February 25th, it is clear that the upcoming Sankranthi season is going to have a clash between two pan-India projects RRR and Radhe Shyam which are scheduled for a January 7th and 14th release respectively. But for the past few weeks, news has been circulating among the trade circles is that Akkineni family film, Bangarraju will also hit the screens during the same Sankranthi season on January 15th.
As Bangarraju is a spin-off to the 2016 Sankranthi blockbuster, Soggade Chinni Nayana, the expectations among the audience on this rural fantasy drama are very high. This morning, at the active producers guild press meet, either Dil Raju or others makers assembled did not even brought the topic of Bangarraju.
But the latest news coming in from industry sources is that there are very fewer chances for Bangarraju to hit the screens on January 15th as the producers guild is still requesting Nagarjuna to postpone Bangarraju’s release and make a way for pan-India projects RRR and Radhe Shyam. As per the inside reports, if Nag accepts for the producers guild decesion, Bangarraju is likely to skip the January 15th release date and go for a January 21th or 26th release. An official confirmation regarding the same is expected to be out soon.
