Industry Grapevine: Clash between Dil Raju and Vijay Deverakonda?

For the past few years, news has been circulating that hero Vijay Deverakonda will be joining forces with talented director Siva Nirnava for a project. A couple of months back, we had also reported that Vijay will be kick-starting the project soon after wrapping up his ongoing pan-India project, Liger.

Confirming the same, Siva Nirnava during Tuck Jagadish promotions revealed that his next project will be with Vijay Deverakonda. He also revealed that the film is going to be a light-hearted comedy drama. As per the inside sources, top producer Dil Raju was supposed to bankroll the project but as an unexpected development, Mythri Movie Makers banner came into the picture and will be producing the film.

Though the exact reason behind Dil Raju opting out is yet to be out, the grapevine is that a wide range of arguments between Dil Raju and VD’s team regarding the hero’s remuneration is the main factor behind Dil Raju stepping out of the project.
