National Award winning director, Indraganti MohanKrishna had been through several ups and downs through out his career. He made Grahanam on shoe string budget with the help of ace writer actor Tanikella Bharani with him in the lead. The movie won a National Award and after that he tried to get into the popular cinema even though his Astha Chemma promised a smooth transition, until recent, Gentleman that was not the case.

He made Mayabazar, Anthaku Mundu Aa Taruvatha, Golconda High School and Bandipotu in between these hit movies. Even though Golconda High school and Anthaku Mundu Aa Taruvatha proved his metal as a director did not have a box office success. After a debacle like Bandipotu, he came back well enough with Gentleman.

Watching the movie and recommendation from his uncle, Sumanth, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya decided to work with Indraganti for a movie. But as of now, that script has been shelved as the actor could not allocate dates for the movie by the end of the year. The director is said to have moved on for his next starring Vennela Kishore and Avasarala Srinivas. The movie will start soon once the producer is set.
