Lyca Productions came forward to produce film with Kamal Hassan and Shankar. The director decided to take forward the story of Indian/ Bharateeyudu after 22 years with Indian-2.
The movie really kick started Shankar mania in South India and made him the biggest commercial filmmaker, which he is maintaining even today. His films I and 2.0, are reported to be highly VFX dominated and fans are expecting content from him.
The director has a script ready and Kamal has reduced his weight to fit in the character again, it seems. As this will be his last film before he quit acting for active politics and campaign for his party, he wants the movie to be his best.
Shankar has cast Simbhu and Akshay Kumar in different roles, it seems. The complete cast details are still not revealed but the movie will start shooting in Hyderabad from 14th December and has Vennela Kishore also in the long list of casting probables, it seems. Movie will release for 2019 Diwali, it seems.
