Indian 2: Shankar Planning in Two Parts?

Shankar’s Indian 2 has faced numerous hurdles during production, raising concerns about its possible shelving. Nevertheless, the unwavering determination of the entire team ensured the project’s progression. Starring Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal, this film holds great anticipation as it marks the comeback of the blockbuster Shankar-Kamal combo after a long time.

Following the tremendous success of Vikram, Kamal Haasan is back in top form, motivating the makers of Indian 2 to revive the project and target an early release next year. Currently, Shankar is juggling the shooting of both Game Changer and Indian 2, but it seems Indian 2 holds a higher priority for both the actor and director.

Surprisingly, reports suggest that the total footage shot amounts to approximately 6 hours, with a few scenes still pending. As a solution, the unit is considering releasing the film in two parts, indicating the possibility of Indian 3 in the future.
