Music composer Imman celebrated his birthday in a meaningful way by donating his organs. Although the donation took place two days before he chose to announce it on his birthday.
Imman who is well known for his work in Tamil cinema is also deeply involved in social causes.
Imman explained his decision saying “I wanted my body to be useful even after my death, to help others. This idea has been with me for a while, and I felt now was the right time. I donated all my organs, including my eyes, heart, and lungs, and received a donor card a few days ago. I chose to announce it on my birthday to give it more meaning”.
He stressed the importance of planning organ donation while healthy as it’s difficult to consider during critical situations or accidents.
He also shared that his family fully supports his decision. “My wife has also donated her organs after seeing me do it, and now even our relatives are considering it” he said.
His act of kindness has inspired many, spreading awareness about organ donation and encouraging others to make similar plans.
