Pooja Hegde started off her career as a girl-next-door in films like Mukunda, Oka Laila Kosam. She then went to Bollywood for Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo-Daro in the direction of Ashutosh Gowarikar. Movie flopped big time but she got a chance to act with Allu Arjun, in Duvvada Jagannadam. The movie gave her a new lease on life and made her the most popular actress today.
In the movie, she opened more and even got the image of a glamorous actress with it. As Jigelu Rani in Rangasthalam, she even showed off her dance skills. Now, she is waiting for the release of her next film, Saakshayam. She is also acting with three big stars back to back. She is the main lead in Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava and Mahesh25. Soon, she will also join Prabhas in his next movie, a romantic fantasy film.
She talked about her fears and issues that slowly she got rid off with time as an actress. She said, “For me set is like Temple and a place where I can improve myself as a person as well. We see and meet kit of people on sets and they tell their stories that will enlighten us even more. I used to be reserved and not so friendly at the start of my career. But soon that changed and I have become more friendly as I started knowing the importance of communication in the workplace. This helped me to become a better person as well.”
