I’m not working in Rajni’s Kaala – Dhanush

Dhanush is going great guns with his movies as he tasted critical success as the director with Pa. Paandi and he is now coming with the movie, VIP2 sequel for his most successful film, Raghuvaran B.Tech. The actor is in high spirits when media caught up with him for an interaction. He denied to talk about the rumours about Rajnikanth’s impending political entry and did not make any statement about his long in production, Gautham Vasudev Menon Film, Ennai Nokki Payum Thota as well. Barring the actor spoke in depth about the experience of his acting in the direction of his wife’s sister, Soundarya and also about his production, Kaala with Rajnikanth.

The actor said he enjoyed working with Soundarya Rajnikanth in this movie and her passion drove the movie to a new level. “I’m happy with the way film shaped out. We tried to entertain audience and also include a good message in it. We are positive that the elements from the early film will be liked by the audience if we give a nice continuation to them. I had to work really hard to bring out a new angle in the romance and when I was working for KODI, I got an idea in Pollachi, and developed into this script,” shared the actor.

Being a National Award Winning actor, he said it is tough to cope up with Kajol as she take over the scene with her performance just within seconds if you leave her the space. Even in a scene where she has to be subdue she can easily grab the attention with minute expressions and he had to be on guard all the time during her combinations scenes. The actor said all the rumours about Kaala are false and asked the fans to wait patiently for the movie. He promised that Rajni brand and Ranjith style of storytelling will come out much better in this movie as well. “I am longing to work even in a scene with him but nothing of a cameo is planned in the film, even though i’m producing it,” said the actor.
