I’m happy and satisfied with my roles – Amala

Amala Akkineni entered the Industry as an actress 3 decades ago and then fell in love with Nagarjuna. She married the actor and decided to stay away from acting voluntarily for years.

She started Blue Cross to look after the animals and spread awareness against animal cruelty. She is now again back in the reckoning with some elderly roles in different movies and web-series.

About that she said, “I have to agree that people of my age find very less satisfying roles. But I am content with the roles I am getting these days. I couldn’t say No to Karwaan and also doing a web-series.

I am very busy with AISFM works and also Blue Cross. I like to go to different places with my husband and he loves travelling too. He is my pillar of strength and I am content with my roles on-screen and off too!”
