I’M Game Story: Don John (Dulquer Salmaan) is the son of a wealthy businessman. He runs a startup but is addicted to gambling and loses a large amount of money. After a serious accident, doctors replace his damaged right hand with another person’s hand. Soon, the hand starts causing strange problems and attracts the attention of a mafia don named David. Who did the hand belong to, and why is David after Don John? The answers form the rest of the story.
Performances: Dulquer Salmaan once again delivers a strong performance, especially in the impressive interval scene. However, his repeated roles as a thief or culprit may feel boring to some viewers. Kayadu Lohar has limited scope, while Samyuktha Viswanathan and Antony Varghese perform well in important roles. Mysskin is decent as the villain. Jayasudha and Shyam Prasad lack proper conclusions, while the rest are okay.
Technical Aspects: I’m Game has an interesting first half, but the second half feels predictable and repetitive. The fantasy elements remind us of familiar films.
