Superstar Rajnikanth who is known for his unique style and timing on screen, always has been elusive to the greater attractions of fame and name. He himself explained in many interviews that he seeks much more from life than just some money and fame. Even though he understands the importance of being loved by many and money in life, he always maintained a simple lifestyle opposing to his image and likes to maintain his simplicity even when he is praised to the skies. Recently, in an interaction with several media persons, he expressed that he would be happy to be known as a spiritualist and he rates himself as one than an actor. He candidly expressed that he loves power and spiritualism gives him extreme power to move forward in life while understanding several complexities of it. He also said he saw a lot of poverty early in his life and he hates it to the core but he also knows that nothing is permanent.
Knowing that everything will come to an end one can only keep themselves motivated when they have inner strength to seek pleasure and calm over flustered life. He further said his first Guru was his brother Satyanarayana Gaekwad, who introduced him at a very young age to spirituality and rated Ramakrishna Paramahamsa has his second Guru. He added to all saying he learnt about social problems through Dayananda Saraswathi and how to search oneself by Ramana Maharishi. Rajnikanth fascinated by Himalayas said that is one place on earth filled with divine secrets.
