In Indian for that matter, everywhere in the World, film Industries do have separate casting agents but the casting couch has become a major issue of concern as it is leading for sexual exploitation, physical abuse and harassment of women and in some cases, men too.
Ileana D’Cruz famous Indian actress did share that she too has her own casting couch experiences. ” The subject and issue has become too sensitive. If I share my experiences people will start judging about which one will come under relationship and which one under harassment. I don’t want that to be the case.
The issue is there in every Industry and every person will go through them. Some are coming out and some are not. I will share my experiences when time is right. At this point, people are judging everything and everyone. The sensitivity of the issue is highly delicate and at this point, I don’t want to be in the mix,” concluded the actress.
She also said that she doesn’t want her personal life to be shared on public domain so much and will share details whenever she loves to. She assured her fans that she will be back to her earlier body shape soon.
