Ilaiyaraja sends an emotional note to SP Balu

SP Balasubramanyam, the legendary singer of Indian Cinema, is said to be under critical condition in ICU fighting the deadly Covid-19. His family members have stated that even though he is critical, he is responding to the treatment and he will soon recover. But, several rumours about his health condition are making fans go crazy and worry, as well.

Legions of fans of the singer are unable to breathe easy and they want their Balu to be back healthy and singing. Music maestro, Ilaiyaraja, shared an emotional note asking SP Balu to recover fast and meet him. He said that he will pray to God that he gives him all beth strength to recover quickly.

Ilaiyaraja in his emotional video note said, “Balu, Wake Up and Come Fast. We are not just colleagues but we are more than that. You’re not just a singer and I’m just a composer. We are friends. We love each other and I am waiting for you. We started our journey long time ago together on stage giving performances at different places and that is what we are. That is what we will always be.

‘Music has started our journey and music made us what we are. We both are people who are grateful to each other and to music. Even if we fight, we fight out of love and even if we work together, we work because of love and respect and our friendship. I will always pray for your good health and I once again request God to help you recover soon. I am waiting here for you Balu. Please wake up soon and come here,” concluded music maestro.
