Ilaiyaraaja Asked To Leave During Temple Visit

Ilaiyaraaja faced an unexpected situation during his visit to the Srivilliputhur Aandal Temple in Tamil Nadu. While visiting the temple he entered a restricted area where the deity is kept.

The temple management who are present there informed him that the area was closed to the public and requested him to step out of there.

A video of the incident has been circulating on the internet. Media reports confirm that Ilaiyaraaja immediately complied after being informed.

He was accompanied by Sadagopa Ramanuja Iyer and Sadagopa Ramanuja Jeeyar of the Sri Andal Jeeyar Mutt during his visit.

The legendary musician was dressed in white attire for the occasion.
