After wrapping up the shooting for the first part of Pushpa, we had already reported that star hero Allu Arjun will be joining forces with Vakeel Saab director Venu Sriram for a project. Titled Icon, the film was announced long back and if everything goes as per the plan the film will be going on the floors from November.
Now, the latest buzz is that Venu Sriram is planning to rope in Anirudh Ravichander as the music composer for the movie. But on the other hand, the film producer Dil Raju is keen on roping in Thaman, who is in great form with back to back musical hits. This is now a hot discussion between the team members, say sources.
It is well-known that for his first film, Oh My Friend, Venu Sriram worked with Malayalam music composed named Rahul Raj, for the second film, MCA, the director worked with Devi Sri Prasad and for Vakeel Saab Venu Sriram joined forces with Thaman. Now, for Icon also Venu Sriram is curious to repeat the same trend and work with a music composer with whom he never collaborated earlier.
