Sai Pallavi has been lucky in finding success with her debut films in Malayalam and Telugu. The actress decided to give her ambition a chance when she received call from Alphonse Puthiren for Premam and as Malar, she became hugely famous. She decided not to act in the role again and waited for better opportunities. She played beside Dulquer Salmaan in Kali in Malayalam and then decided to complete her Medicine in Georgia before getting into movies again. The first movies, she did after graduation is Fidaa and she has created a huge sensation as Bhanumathi.
The actress is basking in the big success and also the huge fan mail she is receiving daily for her acting. She said, “ I did not expect people would love me so much. I thought the script was really good and even participated in the working shop on Shekhar Kammula’s insistence. She had been highly patient and helped in learning the language and the slang. To match the height of Varun Tej, I had to wear long heels but as the people accepted out pairing, I’m happy that all the work paid off.”
She continued, “ I had to learn how to drive a tractor, how to plant the seeds for this movie. My respect for farmers has grown further after this. I always thought working in one film at a time will help in me focus on that movie and character but right now, I’m trying to act in two films at a time and I can hopefully pull off. While, I was watching the movie, when people started clapping for dialogues of Pawan Kalyan and his name, I got confused and thrilled at the same time. I said to myself they are clapping for you, they are clapping for you several times, to calm down. I’m happy with the success and hope I can get better opportunities to sustain.”
