I was never interested in acting

Vijay Devarakonda is like that unopened new gift that everyone wants to know about and the actor is unfolding new things about himself each day. This time he talked about how he entered and why he feels he is a reluctant actor.

“My father used to scold me every day that I am wasting my time without any goal or passion during my degree days. I told him one day, that I want to learn filmmaking and would love to join New York Institute. I knew we don’t have so much money and parents won’t accept my request.

But in a week, my father made me join a theatre group. Until I joined there, I never took acting seriously. I learned how to behave like a character there. Today, I am enjoying the process more and more, which I hated in my starting days. My father said that writing civils and finding a job would be easy than getting an opportunity in films.

He said there are 400 jobs every year for Civils qualifiers but no guarantee about a film! But I pursued my dreams,” concluded Vijay Devarakonda. He is eagerly waiting for the result of his NOTA film, releasing on 5th October.
